For those of you using hole-in-white to paint cups, what is your strategy for keeping the cups clean and clear of paint overspray?

We modified the tool to the point that it's just a ring that sits on top of the hole. We place a board with a hole over the ring and then hand paint with the hole n white. It allows you to use less paint with a couple of light coats and reduces the overload of paint. Stole the idea from another course close by. We still get build-up though, and when we swap out cups we bring the old ones in and hit them with a wire wheel on a drill, and repaint them with white appliance epoxy.

I do the same thing as Sam. Works great. I paint the bottom of the cups too for big tournaments.

I just use a small towel around the applicator
