Drive works but i've seen it yellow out bermuda, i don't know what it would do to bentgrass though. I would start out with the low label rate first and maybe do split apps.

Thanks for the info. What water rates are you using?
Is there any fear of killing the bent or will there just be some discolorization.

See below from label, you mention putting surface in the post, not labeled for greens.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE ON BENTGRASS TURF

at least 1/4": Penncross, Penneagle, Pennlinks, J.H. Bent, Southshore, SR 1020, Providence, Putter, Kingstown, Tracenta, Bardot,
Egmont, Allure, Seaside, and Colonial. The turf should be established for at least one growing season before Acclaim Extra Herbicide
is applied. DO NOT APPLY TO BENTGRASS PUTTING GREENS

Has anyone tried Acclaim on Bent in Alabama? I have 2 greens that I cant seem to keep it out of, its heavy in the Diamond Zoysia collars of these two greens and its slowly making its way into the green. I've been hand pulling but looking for other options.

Penncross and Seaside bent here in TX...I started useing Andersons Contec DG w/.164% dithiopyr @2.6lbs/m of product as my pre emergent. 2 apps@3 months apart. It works as post emergent also @the 3 leaf stage.Gives you a very wide window. If by chance there is breakthrough Quinclorac @1lb/acre...No MSO and flooding nozzels....Works...No issues what so ever and NO Crabgrass :) May spray some iron also. :)

I have had success with the Andersons Contec DG 0-0-20 w/.164% Dithiopyr as well. Have never had a crab issue and only the occasional goosegrass plant in a weak spot. We do two split applications here and I have used the 3.5 rate and do split applications (I figure we are in the south?) We will do our first one the end of April and the second usually falls the first week of June, (it's six weeks apart for us). I will say this season we only got the one application out the first week of June because of all the weather issues, (that should be the rate for greens in the transition zone) and I have just seen a couple of goosegrass plants on a few greens, and they aren't the normal problem greens from the past. I hope I'm not kicking myself in another couple of weeks for not getting the second application down.

The next guy that shows up late... give him a pair of tweezers and start plucking.
