Anyone had experience with JRM's Cross tine? I want to know if the holes stay open longer and if anyone has seen any benifits from them to justify the extra cost when compared to a standard solid tine. I am looking at .250" O.D.

I've found the cross tine to be a little less disruptive and with a roll hardly noticeable. I also would be partial to the cross tine in the dead of summer. Toro has a line of cross tines that will fit most all aerators on the market. Not sure if they are any cheaper.

I agree with Tony. We have used them a lot and they have very little effect on ball roll. After about 2 days you can hardly notice you used them.

    Dru,
Have to agree with the others. The cross tines are nice and heal quickly. Hate I am going to miss the meeting on the 16th, just have alot going on right now. I hope all is good for you.
