    Robert,

We have successfully been using MultiGuard for a few years now. We will be making our second application of the year next week. Follow label instructions and you should be fine. This product is used in conjunction with our pre-scheduled application of Curfew in June.

A few tips: don't water in too much. We apply about 15 minutes behind the sprayer then don't water for 24 hours. Also, don't expect to see your numbers drop to zero. Typically, and research has shown this, your counts will be cut in half with each application. So if you have sting at 300, after the initial app it will drop to 150, second app to 75, etc...

The entire program, 3 applications in the spring and 3 in the fall, is expensive. Coupled with Curfew it is very expensive. But, it's currently the only thing we have available to us.

I have spent more on Nematode control in the past three years than I have the previous ten combined. Hopefully it appears, there will be some new products available fairly soon. I've seen some trials of some very good stuff, just waiting on registration to take place.

I've been using Curfew and Nortica. I've still got some Nemacur, though....just in case the nuclear option becomes necesssary.
