Hi, Does anyone remember where I saw a photo of 80 something balls in pitch marks on green over the last couple of weeks?
The super ran out of balls to fill all the pitch marks.
I want to get it to my GM.
Thanks Michael

Looking at the pictures, since you can't even see a ballmark near any of the flags I think you could get away with just staging the photo yourself. Throw 80 balls about the green, kick a few of them around, then take the picture.

Thanks Keith, I agree with Pete that they are not too pronounced. I don´t have to invent any on several of my greens. I saw this photo on Turfnet or 1 of the common blogs, I just can´t remember. I will do one of my own if it doesn´t pop up here.
I have been really busy reprogramming my Sitepro computer with 534 stations and 1134 heads running with 24 LTC satellites. He have 300 feet of elevation change and 20 year old pvc piping and 4 20 year old pump stations.
I think I will be able to get it running like new mixing and matching stations into maybe 12 sequences and 40 or so programs. Good fun as weather is heating up.

We had the same issues with ballmarks over the winter months while greens were in dormancy..... This is usually sent out to the membership as a reminder

Attached is a photo of 1500 golf balls placed on ballmarks on one of our Par 3's. The black is charcoal on the collars during overseeding.

At my last (and I mean LAST job!) I had a great golf pro (Dan Hager) who had the rangers fix ballmarks. They repaired the ballmarks and top dressed them with a GASH-B-GONE. It really worked well. We had ballmarks but they putted smoothly.
