question for the footgolf courses Cancel The title field is required!

   We have an established footgolf course. I have recently been ask to move a few cups to areas in the roughs where it appears there is more grass. I have warned them if I mow it down there will not be more grass.
   
   Do any of you have cups in the roughs with regular HOC for roughs and no cut out greens?
   
   Also while I am at it. I have been told the regulation size of a footgolf green is no less than 3M and no more than 10M. Have any of you heard of these measurements? I have searched on the internet and cannot find anything on the size of the greens.
   
   I have a lot of them just cut out of the side of the fairways while the others are basically stand alones but I know I go past that is size on a few.
   I have one in particular that is in a know wet area that I want to move but the only dry area would be in the fairway. would this be ok?
   
   I have been recently told that footgolfers are getting upset that golfers are taking divots out of their greens. any solution to this? the rules of golf should give you a free drop if you go in a cup, but not 15M away from the cup.

   We are a affiliated course and I have never seen green sizes. The only regulation I saw was the foot golf course had to follow the golf course and not be off in a field by itself.
   
   It sounds like you have some serious foot golfers. Ours have tended to be families, schools and business outings.
   
   I have played foot golf and in my opinion a divot is not going to effect a soccer balls roll. Our cups on are on the side of fairways in the first cut mowed at 1.25" so technically the green is the size of a Toro 4500 going around the hole with fairway height grass on the other side.
   
   We are not losing money on foot golf but if I had to do it over again we wouldn't have started it.
