    I went to the US Holocaust Museum. I don't know if it like this every day, but the day I was there thousands of people did not make a sound.

    Only sounds I heard when there was the sounds of footsteps and a occasional sniffle accompanied by tears. The rail cars and piles of shoes and clothing were quite haunting.

    That place really beats you up. The best thing to do afterward is hightail it over to Arlington and watch the changing of the guard. That restores your pride in mankind. Kenneth Ingram, UMD

    Hiroshima has a similar museum. Not often I get teary but I did

    Larry,

    My uncle was in the Army and in Pearl Harbor when it was bombed. After the war he married a Japanese lady who lived in Hiroshima when it was A-Bombed. My uncle passed away at the age of 95 and his wife at the age of 98. They lived in Japan.
