This is the fourth property at which I have had Deere Sprayrigs, and the first time I have had problems with this setup ---on two units, since I began driving these in 1998. I know of the guage issues that it needs a prime once and again.
I have used teejet Turbo floodjet nozzles, and grey or white delavan nozzles of either white blue or green in the thirteen years. Problem being --- I am not getting a good pressure variance and the nozzles typically stop working across all three booms if below 17psi (known), but I am not getting a spray time pressure above 23 psi on either unit. My preferred speeds are 5mph, and six mph. I have used these in the past with no issue and never needed to redline the rpms to get there. We replaced the floodjet regulator on one unit.
What should I do to check this thing out? The pump that comes on the machine is blue, and I know factually that on one machine it is not blue, so my suspicion is that in inferior pump was purchased to save a few dollars. We cleaned the whole unit and replaced all the hoses as well to avoid clogs and debris. Puzzled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -Ian
