I have 2 that have gone bad is it worth trying to rebuild? We have never tried it but I do see parts are available.
    Or just replace with new.

    Thanks

You can reseal them, but if they go bad right away or in a short period, then you have too much blow-by and will need to replace the motor as the wear can be in the housing.

We rebuild our reel motors all the time when they begin to leak and never have an issue with it.
Easy to do just keep your work area very clean.

Figure the cost of rebuilding versus buying the new reel motors. For us it was about a $20 to $30 more on a new reel motor for our GM3200. Plus the time it takes to rebuild them. We decided to buy the new reel motors over rebuilding them.
