I know that discussing costs is generally taboo on this site, but I'm curious if anyone is willing to share some numbers for myself and other supers to see if their $/A are in line. While on this topic, is there anywhere within GCSAA or USGA (links to articles or posts maybe) where one might find these number$.

For my purposes I'm mostly interested in cool season grass guys' numbers in these three categories:

Chemical and Fertilizer cost per acre only- not labor, not aeration, fuel, syringing, water....etc. Just chemicals and fertilizers:

(my proposed numbers for this season)
    Greens- ($5500/A)
    Tees/Fwys- ($460/A)
    Rough- ($185/A)

Mid to high end links-style public course with a high tolerance for disease- anywhere but greens that is.

Thanks for any who choose to respond!

    $2500/A - Greens
    $1500/A - Tees
    $1100/A - Fwys
    $150/A - Roughs

I do spend a good amount of this $$ on Velocity and PGRs.

    North Central PA golf course.
Bentgrass greens, bluegrass/ryegrass tees, collars, approaches and fairways.
    Greens: $3277.25 per acre
Tees, Collars and Approaches: $944.59 per acre
    Fairways: $262.29 per acre

I have looked for this sort of information before and have had no success in finding it. GCSAA does not keep any sort of records in this area. The closest I have found is last months issue of GCI magazine and it was not to the level of detail I would have liked.
