Our local County agency recently contacted us trying to give away large amounts of various liquid fertilizers seized from grow operations in our state. After browsing their stockpile, I came away with about 100 gallons of humic acid. The product is about 4 years old and from what I could figure out from their website, contains about 2.6% humic acid.
For those that regularly spray humic acid, does anyone know a good starting rate for this product? I have no idea what the level of humic acid is in the turf products that are available out there. Our roots our shallower than normal so I'm looking for anything I can to increase root growth and this product was completely free. Of course, I'll do some test patches before I turn it loose on all my greens
