Barn find-equipment sitting for 5+ years Cancel The title field is required!

   Long story short - I have found some turf equipment that has been sitting since 2012. The owner wants to sell ASAP as the property has been sold and new owners will take possession next month. The new owners will be turning the property into a land trust and will not operate the golf course. Other individuals and courses have been there prior so the pickings are getting slim.
   
   In the barn there are.
   3 toro triplexes with 18hp briggs engine (04 with 674 hrs and DPA reels - others have 2772 and 3475 hrs)
   3500d sidewinder with 3000 hrs. This has been used recently
   07 multi pro greens sprayer with 1147 hrs
   J-D 3245c rough mower
   Jacobsen fairway mower
   Old J-D greens sprayer
   Jacobsen walk greens mower
   Other misc items- old Foley reel and bed knife grinders toro 4 bolt reels etc.
   
   So besides bad gasoline and carb problems what else should I expect with the triplexes or sprayer from sitting that long? Same question for the diesel equipment.
   
   Any idea what these pieces may be worth? They are in decent shape just lots of dust and spider webs.

   I'd at least drain or replace fuel lines and filters and clean tanks . Hopefully carbs were run dry before hibernation, run them up to operating temperature and then I would change out the rest of the fluids and filters . Check the hydraulic lines for cracking .

   I'd also be suspicious of bearings, gaskets, seals, hoses and belts. I'm sure nothing's been greased in along time. Rubber dries out and cracks.
