Has anyone had any luck matching the colors on the royaline red/white/blue flagsticks (#sgc26102)?

I haven't tried the blue yet,but I have had great results with the red and white using an Dupont Inron industrial paint from an automotive store. Not cheap per quart and activator, but it goes a long way, tough as nails and I think they can match colors pretty well.

An alternative is VinylGuard. We did a set using the pink for a breast cancer tournament. Easy to put on and holds up great. Very, very affordable as well. They have a process on their website if you want to do multiple colors.

I would agree with Andy. While I've not tried using Vynylguard on flagsticks, I have used it on my bunker rake handles and it does a nice job. I'm sure it would do the same for flagsticks and it won't chip or wear off like paint. One tip using VynylGuard, instead of using a heat gun to apply, we used our kerosene forced air shop heater. It's much quicker.

Vinyl Guard. We have been using it on flag poles for several years. We get 2 seasons before replacing. Very easy to do two tone.
All of the fiberglass rake handles have been done as well as some hazard stakes.

For those of you using vinyl guard, have you experienced additional shrinking after putting it out during the summer?

Some of our bunker rakes, majority, had a bit of additional shrinkage once we set them out in the hot summer sands. When initially applying the product, we didn't dare heat it up anymore for fear of melting it.

No issues. During installation they are heated well enough to make sure they are snug and all wrinkles removed.
