John Deere 2500 Diesel Help Cancel The title field is required!

   Folks,
   
   I have a 2002 John Deere 2500 diesel that tossed the water pump the morning....does anyone know here to find Yanmar engine parts, due to the fact that Deere told my equipment manager that Deere doesn't have and doesn't need to manufacture this pump anymore, since it is older than 10 years...Go figure.
   
   There is 1 available in the world and it's currently in Canada somewhere...
   
   I'm open to any suggestions since I have the identical machine in the shop...

   Just did a little looking around. If the part number is AM882356 which subs to AM880165 the only one on a shelf is the one in Canada you spoke of. It does look like JD will be restocking those water pumps at some point.

   Take the engine model number and specs to a marine dealer that sells yanmar, they should be able to help as they put a lot of those engines in sailboats.

   As of right now, I'm the proud new owner of a water pump coming from Canada.....
   
   Worst part is price was not a discussion item....
