Hi all,
I have a question about a Toro 1250 sprayer, 2003 with 1310 hours on it.
Was out spraying this morning and on about my 12th green, I noticed the middle boom didn't spray on my 2nd and 3rd pass. Went back over the pass and just had my middle boom on and re-sprayed it. It happened again on my 14th green and I did the same thing going back over my pass with just the middle boom. By the time I was on my 16th green, it would not spray on even the first pass, and trying to just spray with the middle boom stopped working also, so the last 4 greens (including the practice) the middle boom didn't work.
After bringing the sprayer in and parking while I did some other things, I filled it up to clean it out, (spraying out in our open field) and the middle boom worked the whole time. I sprayed about 90 gallons straight and then the last 40 gallons tried to replicate the issue by turning the booms on and off just like I would do spraying. The continued to work, although I thought a couple of times it appeared the pressure dropped, but hard to say looking back from the seat.
I was thinking about the electric valves/solenoids or coils, on the back (or whatever they are called).
Do you all have any suggestions to give to our mechanic when he gets back from our other courses?
Thanks!
Mel
