Well, we keep a mechanic for a year or two and then they move on or want to get on a mower because of retirement age. Plus we do not pay anything and no benefits. (just trying to keep the course open)
After several mechanics we have pieces/parts all over the place with at least one engine that the distributor can not get running. My current mechanic (This year's version) [Retired heavy equipment mechanic] has made progress with many other pieces of equipment but has not had time to get the engines together.
He is done for the year on November 24 and will return again April of next year. His helper (right now) is a 12 year part time employee that can do most jobs better than everyone else I have but has a full time job, but is broken and only able to lift 20lbs. Soooo, between the three of us we are trying to get things together before the accountant sends us packing for the winter. Thought an engine exchange would be the fastest solution.
