I recently took over as gcs at a course in La. The greens are 328 bermuda. A couple are mostly dead. I believe my best option is to regrass those greens using sprigs. In the interest of consistency I would like to go with 328 or something very similar. Unfortunately, I cannot find any 328 sprigs. I have looked on the net and asked some bermuda grass producers for help in locating them but have had no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find them or something similar? Thanks.

It sounds like your budget is pretty restricted. Kill off any existing grass with with two applications glyphosate, followed by the high rate of Basamid, then plant with Tifdwarf. The difference may be significant enough to get the owners to do the rest of the greens eventually. In the meantime you can use a stimpmeter to assure consistency.

Aerify all the greens, Spread the plugs from the good greens onto the bad greens, Slice them in, fert, topdress, and water.
