How late in the season do you spray for broadleaf weeds?

Research from Dr. Branham out of U of I says for the Chicago area if you spray between Oct 15 - Nov 15 you get very close to 100% control. I am planning my wall to wall spray for this time period, the tricky part will be dodging the leaves!

After the first frost the weeds start translocating to the roots much better than late summer.

    Andy,

Now I know why you didn't get any applications for that position, nobody wanted to spray weeds on Christmas day?

I have two employees that work Christmas Day. It's just another day of the week to them.

What about bermuda in the transition zone? I've always waited until dormancy or catching a cooler day when fully greened up.
