whats some of your guys choices when it comes to slow release fertilizer? I liked using lebenons par ex 21-3-16 ibdu and par ex 10-18-22 ibdu in the spring and fall but i can not get these products from my vendors anymore. Both were around $40 per 50lb. What about bentgrass also?

Just talked to one of my suppliers about the new Regain(?) technology. I'm getting more info by next week. Sounds like a good slow release product for fairways providing it is applied at the 1 lb N /M.

Regain Technology? Never heard of it so I did a little investigating. From what I could gather, Ragain is NutriSphere-N. Another hand-me-down from the ag industry. It's been around for a while. A few years back, I saw an infomercial on NutriSphere-N and bought some from our local Ag dealer. Seems to be a direct competitor of the Agrotain/ Uflexx products.

I have used many different greens fertilizers and I alwasys come back to Seablend 12-0-12. Simply the best product with the best color.

With the advent of Potassium Nitrate becoming so high priced it is almost unatainable anymore, I've had to switch a few times as well. I now believe fully in the Anderson's contec DG products. For me personally, i really like the spead in which it melts during irrigation. Especially spring and fall when I dont' have as heavy of water requirements. I have been by choice using a 18-9-18 early and late and trail into and ramp out of summer with 9-0-18. I know they've got other formulations in the SGN 75 stuff as well.
