Anyone have any good and safe remedies for crabgrass and nutsedge in bentgrass greens? The surrounds are covered in crab and nut, and very mature. So far the weeds in the surrounds have laughed at MSMA and Drive

As long as your surrounds are not Bermudagrass, check out the label for Acclaim Extra from Bayer.

Additionally, Quinchlorac is all but useless without adding a sticker.

Sedgehammer and drive or tenacity if you have fescue or rye surrounds.
Tenacity is a no go on warm season grasses.
Agree with Drive not working w/o crop oil. Also Drive will work on early crab and on late season crab, but isn't effective at all on mid season weed pressure. Need to spray before the 3-4 leaf stage or wait until mid to late August when the plant begins to seed out.
