I used to love coming to the website. I would visit the site each and every day. Now I might try to check it out once a week. I have to sign in every time and then when it sends you over to the old website, I have to sign in again. I would like to see everything on one website and remember my sign in. The site now is very irritating. After searching the forums I find that it doesn't get the use it did in the past. Obviously others feel the same.

    Greg,

We understand your frustrations. Website transitions of this magnitude generally feature an interim period where users encounter short-term work arounds. As we begin Phase 2 of the redesign, we are transitioning the data driven features to the redesigned site. However, for the short-term some of those data driven functions remain housed on the old site and thus you must log-in again. We hope to be at the point of single log-in as soon as possible. The home page of the newly designed site offers a link to FAQs that you might find helpful in navigating GCSAA web properties. As for the forums, we knew traffic would be down early in the transition to a new product. Combined with the time of year where the golfing season is at its peak, we are actually seeing more traffic than anticipated. The new forums product was tested by a group of members and then opened up for testing to the full membership. We have received good feedback as to the increased value of the new forums as compared to the old forums. The expanded topics and ease of use were highlighted. I encourage you to continue to come to the site and forums as new features are regularly added.

    Sincerely,

Jeff Bollig, GCSAA Sr. Director of Marketing/Communications
