   I read this at lunch today and of course I'm sure the author used some descriptive language as part of his trade, but I wondered, have we as a industry really done a good job of getting our message out?
   
   Would be curious what everyone else thinks?

   So I'm guessing Josh Sens did his own water testing.....or he based it on other facts or reports that showed pesticide levels in the water. Another responsible journalist hack.

   Sad words, agree with what is said above! A journalist should be careful what they write about without doing proper research first! Stupid is as stupid does! enough said.

   I have been at my present job for 12 years: one ball diver drowned and one bitten by an alligator. The only other incident I had was cleaning out a wet well intake myself in about 15' of water. A 6' gator rested on my back and dug his front "feet" into my shoulders. When I realized what what was up we both panicked and went in opposite directions.

   We just completed a Site Assesment Report for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. They tested the silt, soil and water in the lakes and found no contamination from pesticides or fertilizers. The course is 28 years old.
