Why is there such a concern down there about health issues with your leaders or those trying to become one. I can't remember one occasion up here where age, health or orientation (sexual, religious, racial) has ever been brought up as an issue. Just wondering. Not being critical

Well, I really never had an issue with it until John McCain was running for President and Gov. Palin was put on the ticket.

It is great to see that the Republicans are finally concerned with women's health issues, oh, I guess that's not plural, woman health issue, but hey it's a start.

We're not. It's campaign baloney. We elected Reagan and he was nearly dead.

That's a good one, one thing missing from back in those days, no Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Fox News, they're the ones who make it an issue.

It's all perception. Each party makes it an issue about the opposition when it benefits them. Same question applies to tax returns. It's irrelevant and none of anyone's business.

    Yep,
President Kennedy was in terrible health prior/during his presidency, including chronic venereal disease.
Didn't hear too much about that.
    But...this is the age of:
Idiots sitting on the sidelines during anthems
    Who's using/not using which bathroom
    Who "got schlonged"
    etc.
Anyway, like a wise, old, sick lady once said,
"...what difference, at this point, does it make"
