   Very early this morning, my youngest son and his wife became proud parents of a not so tiny , new little girl. Addison was 9 pounds once ounce and has a head of hair you wouldn't believe. That makes four grandchildren for my wife and I. Four wonderful kids to spoil and send home to the parents. Life is good. Mother, father and baby Addison are all doing fine!

   Thanks guys. We drove up to Orange County last night and enjoyed holding our 1 day old granddaughter. She is a beautiful little girl with a head of hair that is even more impressive than the pictures we received! Let the spoiling begin. It is going to be fun watching my youngest son be a father. My bet is he will need professional help. He was the actor type growing up and everything had to be as he perceived the play called life. I have news for him. She is going to play her own role.    Congrats Sandy and it truly is a great day...........the Aztecs are headed to the Nawlins bowl......a bit far for the average SDSU fan but a trip they earned on the football field.........a new grandbaby and a bowl game all in one weekend!

   And, the Aztec basketball team beat the California Golden Bears! I was at the Aztec Fresno game Saturday night. We sure tried to give that away until we finally woke up! Yes, it was an especially good week. The only problem is that this morning it is a brisk 27 degrees and it looks the same all week. Good old frost delays are here.
