    Hey everyone,

Not to rub it in, but I need to get some new shorts for work (I know... but it's still in the upper 70's, so...)...

Looking for something different than the usual (Docker's, etc.)... What suggestions do you have for me?

Columbia makes some great shorts that take a beating and look good.

I know I wear Columbia pants all the time and like Keith said they do hold up great for me. My shorts are what ever was on sale, I have some Old Navy ones that are lasting ok and were pretty cheap.

AFTCO fishing shorts. They dry quick when they get wet and look good. They are not your traditional golf shorts nor cargo shorts.

I always bought work shorts from an industrial uniform company such as Aramark Similar to what UPS wear and available in different lengths and fronts. Very reasonable and last for years.

Thanks for all the suggestions... all of which I hadn't seen or heard of except for Columbia. Got me some web surfing to do now!

Alan, just relocate to San Francisco and I guess you wouldn't have to wear any clothes! It is a little cooler and much more foggy so naked may be way too cool!

This is what I like to wear.
Granted...not to many guys can pull this look off as well as I can.

They call them a "capri" but you can call them knickers if that will make you feel more comfortable.
