I saw Jeff Johnsons Blog about building an ice rink on a Turfnet email this morning and it made me take a short walk to look at some greens. The photos are in the link below. It is beginning to look like the Toro Icebreaker 660 might be called into action in a few short weeks.
I trust the winter is treating you Southerners well

I have included a mournful Canadian Classic for your listening pleasure

80 degrees here now. Have only broken out the pants twice this winter so far. Up until two weeks ago when we hit an overnight low of 19, we were mowing rough and getting significant clippings on tees and fairways. I only own three pairs of shoes - my work shoes, golf shoes, and flip flops. All get equal use.

Good luck with the ice, Red. I'm sure you'll post your progress with this year's version of the new and improved Toro IceBreaker. Better have spare parts in stock.

Andy, nothing personal but I've seen some pictures of you, and not wearing pants just isn't an option. Maybe one day last week on the subway as a protest, but for gods sake cover those gams.

Clay, are you saying I stole those ice photos from you?

Now that I have had time to give it some thought, I can't possibly stay mad at such a fine look'n fella.

If your referring to my new Avatar, I had that professionally taken at Hawkes on Saville Row shortly after the stitches came out

Too bad you didn't use that early 80's speedo and tube-top pic for your Avatar.

Clear your cookies and reload. Geez...do I have to explain everything to you?

Go back to Thailand. But stay away from Chiang Mai. She's there right now....

I have to do that just to catch a glimpse of Red? No, thanks.

Chiang Mai now?. Little tart gets around. You definitely out kicked your coverage this time.

How dare you Mister Wallace? That is indeed me and wearing a splendidly tailored suit. The only decent tailoring you've seen is above your appendix

Little tart? How dare you! Since she is unavailable for comment, I will profess indignation on her behalf. That's just the kind of guy I am.....

    Larry,

You've changed your avatar. I had no idea you were so incredibly handsome. I wouldn't be surprised if you received an offer to star in Ocean's Twenty Seven, although Clooney may feel somewhat upstaged. Perhaps you could ask the makeup department to add a blemish.....if that's even possible.

Will you remember us? I sincerely hope that the Hollywood scene doesn't change you. Remember your roots....however stunted and black they are.

Timmy Daniels? No way. Look at those sparkling blue eyes. It can only be that European-like air kisser that wives swoon over. It's....[insert name here].

Shuff and Little Timmy used to hang out together when Timmy was in Fort Meyers. He is likely still in contact with him. They were of similar mindset, as I recall.

One of my favourite quotes from Timmy was..."I'm a big guy. I sweat a lot"
