    Hello everyone

Our club in the near future may have the opportunity to have a cell phone tower installed from a major phone provider close to my maintenance facility. Has anyone else gone through this process that can pass on any information to help my avoid any issues now or in the future? Was there any fringe benefits from them coming onto the property (rent the space for x years, wifi discount to maintenance facility, clear area for the course so they could install tower..??)

Thank you in advance for the replies.

I know you will get a response to this post in time. I'm certainly no expert, but this is a big deal here in the Washington suburbs. I can name 5 golf courses easily within 20 miles of campus that have done this. I am hearing prices of $3-5K monthly in rentals. The towers do need maintenance however and it is not uncommon at all to have a couple of vans and work trucks on the site daily and at odd hours. Good luck. Kenneth Ingram, UMD.

Our club tried twice, shot down by members once and neighborhood vote second time. Lots of environmental and engineering and other hoops. Would have been a great deal for us as the cell company was going to build a new road to our shop 1800 ft. We need the road, the tower was going to be flag pole type.
