    What's happening in your areas?
We were at $3.29 a month ago and it was lower then that the beginning of April, it has been rising 10 cents per week until it hit $3.59 last Thursday 5/9/13. Yesterday 3/15/13 it jumped 15 cents to $3.74 and when I went to the park office today it was up another 10 cents to $3.84. 25 cents in two days and 55 cents in the past 3 weeks? What gives? Supply and demand my @#$%.

    Like Brian knows,

We just dipped below $4.00 at most places a few weeks ago and now have spiked back up to where almost everyone in the San Jose area is back over $4.00/gallon. Can save a few cents by waiting in line at ARCO but I'd rather not sit in line for gas.

Fluctuates in my area. The cheapest in Indiana is $4.09. Move across into Chicago and saw it at $4.49.

Ours went up another 13 cents this morning. Now $3.97, that's 35 cents in less then 48 hours. And these guys need subsidies?

Paid $4.05 for 91 octane yesterday at Costco in East County San Diego and a few days before that I paid $4.13 at Costco in North County San Diego. Each time they do work on a refinery, they jack the price up on gas.

Interestingly, I have heard the news report, the last several days, that gas prices are down. Where would that be?

I'm seeing $5.50/gal over here (Cambodia). Diesel runs $5.00/gal, which is the same price we pay for Bio-Diesel made from used cooking oil.

Story in our local newspaper today explaining why it seems to be the Midwest, due to a couple of refineries being closed for maintenance, one in Tulsa and another in Kansas, this has created a shortage in the Midwest, fuel usually heading to Missouri has been sent to Minnesota (also from TV news reports, a refinery in Indiana and Illinois had been closed).

I still don't know why it has affected the SW corner of the state unless it's the Tulsa refinery. Our high school band is in St. Louis and reports from there is gas is cheaper up there.

You would think they could plan this stuff better, maybe it's time to start regulating them again, heck we give them subsidies, and it has a big affect on the entire economy. My 401k isn't going to do me any good if I won't be able to afford to retire, I would take a little less profit to allow me to continue to invest or spend my extra income on things besides my gas tank.

$6.95 a gallon, here on the beautiful island of Anguilla. About $5.50 a gallon five miles away on St. Maarten, to bad there is no bridge or car ferry connecting the two islands.

    Tim,
Down here, they have blamed you all up there for the price hike on us.

My neighbor thinks it's bs, it would be like Frito-lay shutting down a chip plant as they were coming up on Memorial Day weekend, or the Super Bowl.

I paid $4.24 for premium on Saturday but I heard prices dropped slightly on Sunday. San Diego is always one of the highest.
