   Did anybody else notice the June Calculator provided by SFWMD was gonna hit us hard this month? I thought if we had the 2008 method, all would be well.
   
   That said, what are you doing? My last fairway fertilizer was 4-0-12. Been chasing with liquid wetting agents, and cascade/milorganite.
   
   Mowed tees once this week. Fairways once. (monday) May be the end for fairway mowing.
   
   Anybody use PGRs to possibly reduce water needs or induce a dormant state?
   
   Curious how textbook drought damage prevention techniques and theory's will pan out. Lets see some rain tomorrow!

   I got 0.35" last night; it is dry, sunny and windy today. I syringed greens this afternoon. We are going to do a Nemacur application next week to try to develop a better root system. Our fairways are pretty bad. We put out just enough water to hydrate the crowns. We are certainly not trying to grow grass at this point. The lakes are down at least several feet.

   The June reduction was the result of negotiations between the Chapters and the WMD so that we could have more water during the tourist season. The reduction assumes a normal rainy season which hasn't occurred yet. That said, it's raining hard on my golf course right now.

   I agree with Steve,
   the new numbers are better for us IF it would rain, i am at lower than 2007 YTD on rainfall and i only got a scant trace last night.....WTH

   I would be happy to give you some of the rain we have been getting up here. 5" in the last week and a half, and rain makes rain so expecting more.
