   Whatever happened to all the recipes for the cookbook we talked about doing a few years back? Had some great contributions from Jeffy and Dmac. Do I need to dig out my Loco Moco recipe again?

   That was me. They're in an old desktop computer of mine. I still have the computer, but haven't turned it on in a couple years. One of those projects I thought would be easy to do. I'll have to see if that thing still works.

   It all started with someone's comment about Jesus waffles. Something about seeing Jesus' face on a waffle, sort of like when you see news reports about the Virgin Mary's likeness on a piece of dry wheat toast, or on a Cornflake, and then everyone in town comes to pray before it, or maybe just to get on the news that day.
   
   So when I saw the Jesus waffle comment, I think I posted my famous waffle recipe, which is famous. It's even published in a cookbook that my Mother-in-Law put together.
   
   You guys are going to try to convince me to turn that comuter back on one of these months, aren't you?

   Perhaps you could sell the cook book to raise funds to bail out Stockton!!! If you sign them they'll even be more valuable. You'll be a local hero. Fire up that old Atari now!!!

   Just had David's favorite Oyster Stew last weekend. I still think a superintendent's cookbook is a good idea. Maybe we could split it up into stages/chapters starting with "Turf School - The Art of Finding Free Food within a Hundred Yards of the Kitchen" and ending with "There is Life After Melanoma - Sometimes". How about "The Chef is Your Friend - The Pro Not-So-Much".
