We have used Aquatrols Advantage and AAT's Respond 3 Tablets with very little success on LDS. What are some of the tablets everyone is using to get water to get back into these areas. I really do not want to make another wetting agent application after spraying the 8oz/8oz app of the LT120 from Agrium. Has worked great to about 45 days but now after aeration and .4" rain in the last month, these spots are showing up more and more. This is on G-2 bentgrass in NE Atlanta. Hoping to get another 30 days or so out of the LT 120 before starting on Revolution in Mid-May. Thanks.

Pervade from Floratine is a good one. As is Regulate Plus from Plant Food. I've had good success with both.

the pellets from R and R is what I used last time. I think aqua aid is the brand name. I wasn't having much luck with the pervade max pellets from floratine, and through all the others used, I figured I'd try these out, and they did a nice job. Lasted a long time in the applicator as well.

For those using surfside, are they an individual outfit, or do they come from distributorships?

    Sam,
I always had good luck with Aqua-Aid tablets when our wetting agents were starting to wear out.

One thing to consider would be to cut your initial wetting agent rate in 1/2 or 1/4 and spray more freguently. I have found it to really help with consistency, especially in August.

If you want to flush or remove water from your profile then Prevade will work. If you're treating LDS and you want to keep water in your profile you would need a product like Retain (Floratine). I used for years with good results on LDS.

I agree with Terry. We use Retain Maxx Pellets.

I completely agree. We went from spraying wetting agents (we flip between Duplex and Magnus depending on the season) once a month to spraying at 1/4 rates every week. With much success. We also do a solo Cascade application once a month.

As far as tablets for in between application hand watering we use Aqua Root pellets from Aqua Aide.
