I know I can't say enough about Turfscreen so far this season. Granted, its been a little cooler and more moist than normal here in Western ND, but we've really cut back our watering schedule, and negated a mountain of handwatering at the same time. I'm putting less nutrients in the bi-weekly tank, and holding color and vigor for a longer period of time. It might be my imagination, or employees are doing that good of a job, but ballmark recovery seems to be enhanced, and my PGR apps seem to also be enhanced. I've struggled in the past to maintain a good 9.5-10.5 on the stimp, and this season, I'm mowing 3 times a week, rolling 4, and have a 10-11 consistently. If my labor budget and chemical budget allowed, I'd like to experiment in other locations with it. But it isn't in the cards for now. I'm curious about the long term effects of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide over a period of time, or how it affects the natural metabolic principles of the plant. But then again, I'd think the good fellas creating the substance have done this research in the past.
I know it'll be in my spray program until early September, and will use it again following Memorial day spray apps in 2014.
