I have a sprinkler head that won't stay up after flushing it out. It was barely coming up so i flushed it out and came up for about 90 seconds before going almost all the way down. Flushed out again and it came up for about 10 seconds. All the rest of the heads work fine in this area. Anybody experience this?

Assuming the head is new... There is a small tube outside the body that goes to the pilot valve.. Inside the pilot valve there is a plunger that might not be seating properly or has dirt.

is this an electric VIH? You might be getting intermittent power... Try switching the wire in the controller just to check.. Just some thoughts.. Have you tried running in manual?

I agree. I recently had a head that I pulled the foot valve out of to flush and got a bunch of crap out of. Then it worked once and wouldn't come up again. After some investigation there was just a little build up in the pilot valve. I would take it apart and wash all the pieces, then let some water run through the little tube that feeds it. It's a messy process but it worked for me. I also recommend using a hose adapter in the head so you can control where water goes while you are doing this process or you will have a hole full of water.
