The weather looks good for a couple of weeks, and I want to hold on to my water as long as I can before we blow out. But their are a few nights coming that look to be below 25 degrees for a few hours. Is it best to leave the pressure up or down during that period. My thoughts are that the heads would freeze quicker if the pressure is down, for the fact of air will freeze quicker. Im I on the right page

We leave our system pressurized all winter with no blowout. In the middle of winter I will drop our pressure to 50 psi, and we have had no problems for 7 years.
