    Hello all
    anyone got any ideas on how to free seized ball lever valves in irrigation's systems ?? or any tips to stop them seizing in the first place???

    Pull on lever till it breaks. Replace with a gate valve.

    do you guys over there use gate valves instead of ball lever?? it always seems to be ball levers over here on my system

    Like Larry said,"Break and replace."

    Always a good idea to turn valves a few times a year.

    I still have some ball valves out there, but most of them have gone the way that Larry describes. Always replace with a gate valve.

    So how do you free up a seized gate valve? Because I have one of those.

    Same way...break and replace...maybe try ball valve this time.
