    Does anyone have pics of setting up the practice green for a putt putt event? I have done it in the past using rope to create the borders of the "holes" wondered if there are better ideas out there.

    I have used twine and also used powdered chalk too

    Twine as well... using tees pushed all the way in to give the "hole" it's shape (then OB comes in to play, if you're not careful!)...

    Here's a picture of the contest we do after the practice round of our member guest. We design 6 holes and do a scorecard We set it up in the afternoon, the contest finishes around 11 p.m. and we break it down early the next morning for everyone to practice on.

    Thats actually a really nice set up. We generally use yellow rope with tees to hold it in place and cut some short branches from our crepe myrtles to push in to look like small trees and use small piles of sand to make sand hazards with.
