lastec 2861 or Toro 7210 Cancel The title field is required!

   I am choosing between a Lastec 2861 and a Toro 7210. The Lastec is a 28 hp zero turn gas burner and the Toro is a 35hp Kubota diesel. Both mowers are demo mowers. The Lastec has 2 year warranty and the Toro has no warranty. The Toro is a 2009 with less than 2oo hours and the Lastec is a 2010 with less than 200 hours. The Toro has a 72 inch deck and the Lastec is a 61 inch deck. The Toro is $2000.00 more. Which would you buy?

   We demoed both before deciding on the Toro. The Lastec had a bunch of inefficiencies that I didn't like. The Toro was built like a tank. We now have three of the 7210's and will be getting two more in May. Our original two now have over 4,000 hours with only issues being the normal wear and tear like spindles. They also fly which allows you to resume mowing where you left off quicker. We went from two guys with outfronts mowing Bahia rough to now one guy mowing the same acreage in the same amount of time.
