Are there any regrets anyone has after purchasing a john deere fairway mower (7700). We are looking to purchase a new mower but are hearing all sorts of different things about all three major brands. Just want to make the best choice for the club and the mechanic.

In particular has anyone struggled with john deere fairway reels coming out of square? This seems to be a complaint I keep hearing and not sure what to think

we just purchased two 7700 fairway units. john deere has made a lot of improvements to their golf course equipment. From reel to bedknife adjustments and hoc adjustments. The gang units are very large and heavy but that's not a bad thing. what I look for in any piece of equipment i buy is the quality of the motor. iv had john deere in the past and im sure you know hours to miles. For example 7,000 hours on a piece of equipment equals roughly 460,000 miles all of my old equipment had anywhere from 6,000 to over 9,000 hours.... nothing runs like a deere
