I have a couple of new bermudagrass greens that are in deep valleys in Viet Nam. In the winter if we see the sun for 10 minutes a day then it is considered a sunny day. This can continue for months. They will likely turn to algae this winter. Does anyone use grow lights? Any other suggestion?

They are being used in Hard Rock Stadium and Marlins Park in So Florida, and on many soccer pitches around the world. I have not seen nor heard of any on Golf Courses.

Cecil reach out to Mike Richardson at Arkansas mricha@uark.edu. He is really up to date on light requirements, etc. Kenneth Ingram, UMD

If I remember right Brian at Presidio GC in San Francisco used a grow light(s) on a green.
