what's your thoughts on groomers for cutting greens. Are they worth the money. I've noticed at the end of the season that the greens were starting to lay down and not getting cut. Is there another way to get grass to stand up before cutting. Thanks Jon

JD2500E and 220E-we have been running brushes in place of the groomers...I have been much happier than traditional groomers. They cover the entire cutting surface, rather than the vertical blades. They also seem to tickle, while being less aggressive.

I use groomers on my 2500E for greens almost everyday all summer long. The only time I don't is in the extreme heat of summer if we get into the high 80's and 90's. I love what it does. Finer leaves, denser turf, less ball marks, and very consistent roll. This is in the northeast on poa/bent greens that roll about 11 everyday.
