I am attaching a picture of a drainage issue causing severe washout. I cannot use any catch basins. I was thinking of a large trench using the largest perforated drain pipe I can get. Back fill the trench around the pipe with gravel, cap it with a 6/2/2 mix similar to an XGD mix in order to grow something. In the washout part using pieces of concrete, support the sides with pallets and such and then use the soil from the trench. The drain pipe will daylight to an existing swale. This is a low area at a horse farm that feeds to a swale then to a creek. what do you guys think? not a lot of money for this project.
PS I cant attach the picture. Text me at 856-630-0213 or email me at
