Just finished core aerification, like most destroyed a set of reels and bedknives to remove sand. We are sitting on extra frames and housings for GKIV. The brush reel seems like a good idea. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks Bill

P.S. If anyone has any for sale shoot me a price!

We have used brush reels for many years. put an old worn out bedknife on them and set it .010" under height of cut. This removes any excess sand and debri and puts the tips of the grass slightly above the height of cut. We built our own. Bought brushes from R&R and replaced worn out reels on an old set of spare heads. Simple and quick, great option. Check their website for pricing.

    I'm right with Steve.
I built a set out of old Toro reels I found buried behind the shop in the ground. I cleanup the frames and purchased the parts from R&R. We use them every three weeks after we drag in our topdressing sand. We went from having to grind our sand reels 3 times a year to only once in the winter.
    Game changer
    Time saver
    Money well spent
