breaking vertidrain needle tines on greens Cancel The title field is required!

   Is there a brand tine at 3/8 that is superior? Is there a setting I need to look at better? The hole is about a thumbnai in length. We have only done a half acre and replaced 6. Most break on the drop or lift. Any advice would relly help as this is my first vertidrain unit I have used, bought last year. Thanks- Ian

   The unit is a Toro, and we adjusted the connection at the three point where the front roller barely touches but upon lift out, there is less a pitch on the tines towards the front (the adjustment keeps the rollers "more level" for a longer period around the drop in and pull up zone.) -Ian

   On both of our three point aerifiers, including our deep tine, they run smoother and are easier on tines if they are angled slightly forward
