    Andy, Steve H ,and Keith,
Get yourselves to Tampa for this big event!

Florida's First DPR Pilot Facility to Provide Beer for Annual WateReuse Symposium

Nearly 100 local brewers are using recycled water from Florida's first direct potable reuse (DPR) pilot treatment facility to compete in the New Water Brew Contest to be held in conjunction with the 31st Annual WateReuse symposium, September 11-14, in Tampa, FL.

Symposium attendees will have the opportunity to taste the winning brews and tour the pilot facility at Hillsborough County Public Utilities. The Symposium will also include more than 100 sessions on water reuse policy, operations, technology, and public perception. The advance registration deadline is August 29.

Gotta beat them dumping it into Tampa Bay then blaming the green industry for the issues after the fact.

San Diego is already blending reclaimed water with potable...I'm sure it's happening elsewhere. How much of that .0000001% does it take to get sick?

The reclaim process is a sound process, short of the removal of any medication and chemicals. Those retirees down there in Hillsborough county I'm sure have some pretty good doses of medication in their systems.

That being said, I ingest reclaimed water on a daily basis....not by choice, of course. But when those aerators at the plant kick on and send it downwind my way...the fine mist against my cheeks actually offer a nice cooling affect.
