Anybody have any tricks for keeping in aerifng tines on a toro fairway aerifier. I have a few spots that we can't figure out a solution to keep the tines tight enough. Replacement of the holders is costly and I thought maybe someone could give me a good idea. thanks.

We had similar problems with 648 and Deere fairway aerator. Tried a layer of tape to no avail. The only remedy was change holders which worked.

Take your tine holders and just add two small spot-weld dots in the center. Tighten down with your impact an no more issues.

We put a small amount of red Loctite on each of the tines and this solved the problem. The tines come out just fine and no residue builds up on the tine holders.
