Has anyone used a wiedenmann terra rake and if so would you say it's at least somewhat effective at removing thatch over time. I am looking at buying one for thatch removal in my fairways. The thatch in my fairways isn't to an extreme level yet so I'm hoping to get ahead of it with something like this. We have demoed one and I like the results but I feel it might not be effective enough over a longer period of time which is what I'm looking for. I've also demoed the wiedenmann super 500 for thatch removal but can't really afford the price tag and I'm looking for a cheaper option. Any thoughts on cheap thatch removal would be appreciated.
