What kind of adhesive have you had success with when trying to put a new ferrule on the bottom of a flagstick?

I've always used a standard epoxy mix. Can pick it up at any local hardware store.

    Epoxy
This year we used the plastic ferrule from R&R that slides on and does not require glue. Surprising they worked so well.

Loctite makes a great 5 minute clear epoxy in a convenient two-part tube that allows you to mix up whatever amount you need. From past experience, you'll get better adhesion if you prep both the flagstick end and the inside of the ferrule with 120 grit sand paper to allow a mechanical groove for the epoxy to set into. Also, make sure to wipe flagstick end and ferrule clean to remove sanding dust.

    Good luck!

We use the same 2 part epoxy that our golf shop uses to attach club heads to shafts. Works great but not sure of the name.
