Versatile and effective. Nothing bad to say about it. Any specific questions?

Actually considering using it to collect cores from fairway aeration. Would the tight spaced (1 1/2") verticutting knives or the paddle flail blades?

Just watched your video Scott. If I saw what I thought I did, the fairway had been cored, and the unit in verticutting mode followed up .. both verticutting the area and picking those cores up in one process?
I sure HOPE I saw that!?!?

You are correct, fairway had been cored, Super 500 followed verticutting and cleaning cores. I have more videos on our YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/LochinvarGC

The machine has paid for itself several times over in terms of verticutting/cleaning cores as well as sweeping debris. We are about to purchase another. And to answer a previous concern about hopper size, we built bed extensions for our Pro Gators and Workmans and dumped in those to keep the sweeper moving. In the time it took the Pro Gator to get to the dump and back, the sweeper was ready to dump again.

If you have any other questions about the process, I'll be happy to answer

Thanks Scott .. you've been a grwat help with this. The box extension you mentioned is to accomodate the width of the (63"?) dump, correct? how you'd go about this .. any pics?

    Thanks
    Gerry

Fast forward to the 4:54 mark of this video. The hopper is a little wider than the length of the bed, but nothing a scoop shovel can't handle

I always consider core aeration a method to incorporate sand into the canopy to help dilute and stimulate decomposition of organic matter. Here is a video that illustrates a method used to combat organic matter accumulation in kikuyugrass that corporates sand with pulverized cores.
