Could anyone recommend a good weather station, ideally one that communicates wirelessly. Thanks in advance.

I have the Weather Channel IT+ (model WS-1510-IT) weather station. I have not been impressed with it. I am also looking for one to replace this one.

The Davis Weather stations are very good and relatively inexpensive. http://www.davisnet.com/‎

I have a Davis Vantage Pro 2, pretty solid, cabled version. Rainfall, ET, humidity, barometer ....works good. I'd buy it again.

I upload to Weather Underground every 10 minutes. I use it on a seperate computer in conjunction with the irrigation controls in case it gets smacked with lightning, which it has ....this is its replacement.

    Good luck.

Lots to choose from depending on how much you want to spend. We have a couple of Campbell Scientifics that control our irrigation system, and a cheaper Ambient Weather model connected to Weather underground so I can check weather on the internet.

I have the Davis Vantage Pro2 as well. Wireless, So far so good. I've had it for a little over a year and a half.
