   Looking for a site where I can get up to date aerial satellite imagery? Google Earth is obviously the most popular but we don't seem to get an updated photo to often. Is there a way to get updated with Google Earth?

   Bing Maps has an aerial of our property taken in the summer of 2011. The Last time I checked the Google maps it was a aerial from 2005.

   I have printed off several from our property appraisers website. Our county does a good job at keeping them updated. Not sure if yours has this capability, but might be worth checking out.
   
   Another thought, as I have done this in the past before as well, is hire a surveying company to have a flyover done. Last time I did one it was taken a few days after I ordered it. Can't remember what it cost, but it was very accurate for my purposes.

   Check with people that do aerial (surveying)photos. They shoot up film left in the camera and keep it on file. They seem to like golf courses and are usually in 100' scale for minimal cost.

   I've used Chicago Aerial Survey. Not sure if the internet has killed their business, but you might try to google the name and see if they are still around. They do frequent flyovers of the area and keep the film on file. You can order size/scale based on your needs.
